The Christmas markets shine in full splendor, and there are many reasons to pay them a visit. Here are five of the most beautiful Christmas markets that the region has to offer!

1. Romantic Christmas market at Arenfels Castle

The Majestic Castle Arenfels over Bad Hönningen becomes the backdrop for one of the most romantic Christmas markets in the region. From November 15 to December 29, the castle attracts with festively decorated space, and the ice rink in the courtyard ensures additional fun. Here the admission prices for the Winter Wonderland are: On the Fridays, adults pay 8 euros (online 7.50 euros), 9.50 euros (online 8.50 euros) on Saturdays and 10.50 euros on Sundays (online 9.50 euros). 2. Shine and glamor in Speyer

In front of the most impressive Romanesque church in the world, a magical Christmas and New Year's market in Speyer is waiting for visitors from November 25th to January 6th. The festively decorated stalls in the city center not only offer delicious culinary delights, but also a full program with festive entertainment. Opening times: Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays until 10 p.m.!

The Christmas market in the Nibelungenstadt Worms opens its goals from November 20 to December 23 and offers a contemplative atmosphere. The Christmas pleasure is rounded off with the Christmas market in Trier, one of the oldest in the Republic.
