South Tangent Kitzingen: Refurbishment starts - full closure from December 6th!

Kitzingen, Deutschland - On November 25, 2024, an important renovation project will be started in Kitzingen! The city has announced that urgently needed work on the south tangent, which will have significant effects for road users. The road surface in critical areas, including the Dutch path and access to August-Gauer-Straße, urgently needs to be renewed. The departure ear towards Glauberstraße is also on the list of renovation measures.

The first work starts on Monday, November 25th and until December 6th, drivers can still use the area, but with minor disabilities. But from the afternoon of December 6th it will be serious: a full closure is necessary and will continue until Sunday, December 8th. After that, only remaining work is carried out, and traffic can flow again from Monday, December 9th, but continue to be with minor restrictions.
