Creative nativity scene: Local Bursch Retten Nenzenheimer Tradition

In a remarkable incident that made the local community in Nenzenheim listen, the traditional performance of the nativity play in the Michaeliskirche was on the brink. As Mainpost were not enough for children this year, were not available at the staging this year participate, which brought the nativity play in danger. During the discussion in the Dorf-WhatsApp group, the idea quickly came up with the fact that the local boys could close this gap. Timo Lechner, the Michaelis-Kantor, then organized Eva Wagenknecht from the Club board, a group of 18 young adults who will now take over the roles of Maria, Josef and more.

The actors, all of whom have a personal connection to previous performances, were enthusiastic about the opportunity to step onto the stage in a new form. In the association's construction car, the script was created, which ironic and humorously mixes the traditional content of the nativity play with a local color. The nativity scene will present a reinterpretation of history around Maria and Josef, who have to fight for a hostel through Nenzenheim, such as Kindergottesdienst-katholisch.de . As usual, the premiere takes place in the Michaeliskirche on Christmas Eve at 7 p.m., and the preparations are already in full swing. The team is looking forward to a successful performance that should be entertaining and thoughtful at the same time.

The unforeseen turn shows how community spirit and creativity can find a way even in difficult times to keep traditions alive. The hope of more children's participation in the coming year remains, while the current contributors are looking forward to inspiring the audience with their acting talent and happy humor.
