Kelheim celebrates: Rapple parish hall for rare film evening!
In Kelheim, the film "100 Years of Liberation Hall" provided a sensational comeback! After years of absence, most recently on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Liberation Hall in 2013, the film was now brought back onto the big screen by the St. Pius women's association on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the parish. The anticipation was huge!
Already 20 minutes before the official start of the film, the parish hall was filled to the last seat! The chairs were not enough, and so beer benches had to be set up in order to meet the rush of visitors. Rappel and with an electrifying atmosphere, there were also numerous spectators on the sides who did not want to miss the event. Pastor Franz Pfeffer and Luzia Schmailzl were enthusiastic about the overwhelming response.
an event for the community
The return of the film was not only a nostalgic journey into the past, but also a sign of the strong community spirit in Kelheim. The people came together to celebrate the history of the liberation hall and to remember the important events that shaped this place. The film was received with great enthusiasm and provided many emotional moments in the audience.
