Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz, Deutschland - In Kaufbeuren-NeuBablonz, the creative world of jewelry comes alive! The new special show "Genesis - Idea becomes jewelry" takes visitors on a fascinating journey from the first thought to the sparkling end product. Jewelry designer Anne Menzel and photographer Fredi Scholze present the entire development process of a breathtaking jewelry set made of glass and silver in this unique exhibition.

"Genesis" - a term that means in ancient Greek "creation" reflects the high standards of the two artists. At the opening of the exhibition, Menzel explained that "design was first of all headwork". Visitors experience how numerous designs arise from an empty sheet of paper, followed by careful selection of materials and the manual manufacturing process. Menzel shows how to try shapes and colors until the final design is defined. At the end of the tour, the guests can expect the completed jewelry set: an elegant jar made of glass hill pearls with a silver lock and perfectly coordinated ear pins. Menzel smiles: "The attentive observer will quickly notice that the first draft does not have much to do with the end result."

But not only the jewelry design is an art in itself! Photographer Fredi Scholze had to face numerous challenges when documenting the exhibition. From changing lighting conditions to workshop dust - every recording required creative solutions. The final shoot, in which the right model and styling are decisive, skillfully stages the jewelry.

The exhibition impressively shows how many decisions and handles are necessary to make a piece of jewelry ready for the market. Photos, sketches, patterns and of course the sparkling pieces of jewelry themselves are part of this fascinating presentation.
