Art and music for freedom of expression: Kaufbeuren sets creative signs!

An exciting day for freedom of expression! On October 25, Kaufbeuren turned into a creative hotspot when the day of action brought together young talents and interested parties to raise their voices loudly and clearly. Organized by Stadtjugendring Kaufbeuren and supported by the Democratic Budget of the Bavarian State Ministry and the Bavarian youth ring, the event moved into the event in the Locations corner point and club omnya. A colorful program of art workshops, music and innovative project presentations offered the participants the opportunity to actively help shape social issues.

The afternoon event started at the corner point with a workshop on action art, which started at 3:00 p.m. Here the young people learned how to draw attention to important topics through creative art arts and installations in public space. They developed ideas with enthusiasm and discussed creative forms of expression to make their concerns visible. Of course, the workshop with the young participants arrived excellently and gave them the tools to spread their messages through art!

music and visions: an evening full of highlights

The evening in the Club Omnya was another Highlight of the action day! The local band Catseye made the audience shake with their energetic skirt. This was followed by Style Supreme, an emerging hip-hop act from Kaufbeuren, who inspired the audience with his critical texts and powerful beats. The crowning glory was the duo paste, which with its unique sound perfectly rounded off the thoughts of the action day and musically accompanied the message of freedom of expression.

In addition to the artistic performances, the exciting project "Wertachstrand" was presented. Stefanie Giesder presented her vision of a public bathing beach on the Wertach in Kaufbeuren, who encountered a lot of positive feedback. Citizens: Interior are invited to find out about the project at the corner point in the city center and to actively participate. A day full of creativity, commitment and future -oriented ideas - that was the day of action in Kaufbeuren!
