Kaufbeurer delegation celebrates 15 years of friendship with Jablonec!
An exciting anniversary in Jablonec Nad Nisou! The city of Kaufbeuren celebrated the 15th anniversary of its city twinning with the Czech city with an impressive delegation. Almost fifty citizens of Kaufbeurer set off on a fully occupied bus to discover the diversity and cultural treasures of their twin city. The trip began with a traditional lunch in Zbraslav, a charming suburb of Prague, followed by a warm welcome by the Gablonz friends and Vice Mayor Jana Hamplová.
The five days were full of exciting program items: from a tour through the historic town hall with a tower inclination to visits to jewelry companies and the impressive Sychrov Castle. A special highlight was the visit to the botanical garden in Reichenberg, which was combined with a city tour. During the transfers, Petr Louda explained the peculiarities of the surrounding places that are known to the citizens of Kaufbeurer by the street names in Neugablonz.

The celebrations ended with a festive dinner in the Petřin restaurant, to which the city of Jablonec invited the entire tour group. Despite the mixed weather, the participants did not let the mood spoil and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Managing Director Alexander Müller thanked the hosts for their warm hospitality and emphasized how important it is to strengthen the cultural diversity and the friendly gang between the cities.
