Cannabis raid in the V-Markt: Police secure dozens of seedlings!
Euro-Industriepark, 87700 Memmingen, Deutschland - scandal around cannabis in the supermarket! The police confiscated in a shocking raid in the V-Markt in the Euro Industry Park Marihuana seedlings. On October 17, 2024, officials searched the market and found 38 illegal plants. In order not to rip in the dark all day, colleagues already struck two other V-markets in the Allgäu the day before, where they secured 39 plants in Füssen 35 and in Kaufbeuren.
The public prosecutor's office in Kempten is alerted! According to chief prosecutor Thomas Hörmann, there is serious suspicion that the plants have been offered for sale since the beginning of October 2024 - and this is a serious offense! "The profitable sale of cannabis plants is prohibited and fulfills the facts of trading in cannabis," said Hörmann. The plants that were planted in pots fall under the new Consumer Cannabis Act. This could end bad for those responsible at the cash register!

The public prosecutor is now intervening and examining the suspicious sale. The consequences are serious: theoretically, prison terms of up to five years threaten those responsible! There is currently a suspicion that the people who are responsible for purchasing and distribution into the markets are deeply involved. But how did the marijuana get into the V-markets?
was the whole thing an oversight or intended? Since the partial legalization of cannabis in May, many retailers have started selling cannabis plants openly. A statement by the management is still pending. The family company runs 39 branches in Bavaria and sells everything-from anoraks to onions and Halloween costumes. But now the entire chain is under fire because of the dubious cannabis deals!
