Ingolstadt mourns: Farewell to the Old Mayor Peter Schnell
An emotional farewell is imminent: The funeral service for the popular Ingolstadt mayor Peter Schnell will take place on Saturday, November 9th, at 9 a.m. in the Münster. Pastor Bernhard Oswald will guide the ceremony and combine the city in mourning.
The musical accompaniment promises a moving experience: members of the youth chamber choir and the motet choir, led by Eva-Maria Atzerodt, as well as mathemic organist Christoph Hämmerl and the Georgian chamber orchestra will frame the celebrations. The city of Ingolstadt has prepared to pay the last respect.

Special words will come from prominent speakers: Mayor Christian Scharpf, Bavaria's Interior Minister Joachim Hermann and the former Prime Minister Horst Seehofer will share their mourning wounds in the Münster. Dean Gabriele Schwarz will also speak for the Evangelical Lutheran Church. For everyone who wants to show their sympathy, there is a condolence book in the Münster from 8 a.m. In addition, the funeral service is broadcast live by Schanzer TV.
