at the same time, on Monday before, the fire brigade Neustadt an der Aisch reported a fire on a grain field between the districts of Höfe and Mönchsberg. During the threshing, a fire covered an area of around 10,000 square meters under high summer conditions. The wind and drought contributed to the rapid spread of the fire. The fire brigade was alerted around 1 p.m. and moved in with a tank fire engine. In order to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring fields, the emergency services used extensive extinguishing measures, whereby the fire brigade was able to adapt the necessary equipment due to the extreme heat. The emergency services received “Marcher Effecting” and did not have to wear the heavy protective jackets and helmets, as on the website of the was.
The fire brigade investigations and the exact cause research for the farm fire has taken over the specialist commissioner of the Ansbach criminal police. The extinguishing work in Baudenbach continued in the first hours after the incident, and the fire brigade did everything possible to prevent worse.
