Cigarette stolen: Series burglary caught in Middle Franconia!
In a spectacular success of the investigation, the Fürth criminal police have taken two alleged series chiefs, which were up to mischief for months in northern and Eastern Bavaria. Between March and December 2024, unknowns collapsed at least 50 cigarette machines in Middle Franconia, the Upper Palatinate and Lower Franconia, and overall they caused a considerable damage to property of around 100,000 euros. The perpetrators welded in the machines and stole both cash and tobacco products, which resulted in a high five -digit theft value. On Monday, December 9, 2024, the investigators were finally able to arrest the duo, consisting of a 49-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man. Numerous evidence was ensured as part of the subsequent house searches. Both suspects now have to be responsible for a criminal law on suspicion of the severe band theft and will be brought up to the investigative judge on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in order to decide on possible adhesive measures. The investigation is still underway, since the responsible bodies want to further clarify the exact circumstances of the numerous breakouts, as is stated in a report by Newsflash24.
The determination was made possible by intensive and targeted investigations by the criminal police, which took place in close cooperation with the Nuremberg-Fürth public prosecutor.
