Power failure in Gröbenzell and Puchheim: 10,000 households affected!
On Friday, Nicholas Day, there were considerable power outages in parts of the Fürstenfeldbruck district, which primarily affected Gröbenzell and Puchheim. At 9:16 a.m., the Komm-Energie reported that the power supply could initially be restored in Gröbenzell, while some households in Puchheim were still without electricity. The incidents concerned a total of around 10,000 households, which was classified as a larger failure. Matthias Morche, the managing director of Komm-Energie, confirmed that the technicians worked at various transformers to determine the causes and to restore the supply as soon as possible, such as Merkur
The cause of the disorders was finally a damaged cable in the area of Puchheimer Straße and Osterseestrasse in Gröbenzell - near the Gröbenbach. Although the possibility that construction work was not entirely excluded near the damage, this has not yet been determined. Three fitters were used for several hours to locate the defects and to remedy the disorder, as well as the Komm-Energie . The technical challenges of these failures were not easy, but the willingness of the team to fix the damage quickly is a positive signal to the affected households.
In the conversion of the power grid, households can observe some precautionary measures, especially for possible water damage in the basement, since such situations cover additional risks for electrical installation. Komm-Energie advises that if you have any doubts about the safety of the electrical systems, the support of an electrician. The company ensures that no risk is taken when the investments are taken up in order not to endanger the safety of all users.
