Voluntary heroes honored: Companies from the Oberland set signs!

In Fürstenfeldbruck, numerous representatives of the police, fire brigades and emergency services come together today in order to honor the importance of voluntary commitment. Bavaria's interior and disaster protection minister Joachim Herrmann will award 15 employers at a solemn event who have emerged as "volunteer-friendly businesses". This initiative is intended to strengthen the cooperation between companies and rescue organizations and thus promote general security in the region.

The excellent companies also include well -known companies from Oberland, such as the Atlas Copco IAS GmbH from Geretsried and Dorst Technologies GmbH & Co. KG from Kochel am See. The event will start at 2:30 p.m. and is an expression of appreciation for the companies that actively work for voluntary work. Such awards are not only important for the companies themselves, but also for the entire assistance system in Bavaria.

The role of companies in the fire and emergency services

The "volunteer company" award recognizes companies that offer their employees the opportunity to volunteer in addition to their professional activity. This can be done in the form of flexible working hours, which enable employees to take part in the fire brigade or emergency services. Such measures help to strengthen the support for voluntary organizations that play a fundamental role in crisis management and disaster protection.

Interior Minister Herrmann emphasizes the importance of this award: "Without the commitment of numerous volunteers, it would be difficult to ensure the quick help that we need in an emergency. The support from the companies is essential for this." This perspective illustrates how companies and volunteering can work hand in hand to create a reliable infrastructure for the security of the citizens.

The focus on volunteering is also reflected in the discussions that are held during the event. The participating companies have the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss how they can promote their employees even better in order to strengthen their work for the community.

In addition to the awarding of the awards, the event is also a platform for a broader discussion about the challenges of managing organizations in the voluntary sector today. Experts from different sectors share their experiences and often it is the small, innovative approaches that lead to sustainable solutions.

The award itself is accompanied by a solemn framework that underlines the value of the commitment for society. It is the wish of Herrmann and other speakers that even more companies join this example and thus build a solid basis for civil society.
