TSV Reichertshausen: Volleyball ladies storm in third place!

The volleyball players of TSV Reichertshausen triumphed at the away game day in Freising and climbed to the sensational third place in the district league with two outstanding victories! One reason to celebrate: The team once again showed that they don't give up even after a bumpy start. But the fighting spirit was rewarded!

In the first match, the Reichertshausen women defeated SC Freising III in an exciting thriller with 1: 3 (21:25; 25:23; 23:25; 20:25). Despite a strong start, the TSV team had to give up one sentence extremely narrowly, but with the return of Elizabeth Saumer and Eva Diemer they shone again. Diemers comeback in the diagonal position in particular gave the game a new dynamic and made it possible Kathrin Sedlmair to play her strength in the middle block. Saumer showed up as a real ass on the serve and often sweated the Freising women!

In the second game against ESV Ingolstadt II, another gripping duel was offered. The TSV fought up and down, starting with a dominant first set, which ended with 25:15. But then the Ingolstadt residents struck back and led 0: 6 points early in the second set! It was a tough fight, but in the third set the Reichertshausen came back after a few strong serials and were able to break away with 25:15. In the last sentence, however, it became critical again when the leadership endangered. But here too they kept their nerves and won 3: 1!

Kathrin Sedlmair draws a first conclusion and explains: "If we were able to raise our game, we have scored the points. However, there is still a lot to improve in defense." But no reason to rest! On Friday, the first round games in the district cup will continue, where TSV Reichertshausen receives promoted SC Moosburg.
