A dramatic accident occurred on Thursday near Moosburg when a 19-year-old BMW driver overtaken a different car when overtaking a combine. The incident happened at 3:30 p.m. on the ST2054 when the young driver from the Freising district tried to overtake the agricultural engine of a 27-year-old man from the Kelheim district, which was already in the overtaking process.

The police report that the BMW driver overlooked the 27-year-old's Toyota, which led to a violent collision. The Toyota crashed into the protective bank, while the BMW touched the combine harvester. The impact not only left two destroyed vehicles, but also a considerable property damage to the protection out. The 27-year-old suffered minor injuries and went on a medical treatment independently.
