Neulburg's volleyball ladies disappoint, triumph!

In a dramatic volleyball weekend for TSV Neuburg, the women experienced autumn setbacks, while the men experienced a surprising upswing! The women had to take two painful defeats in district class 1, while the men shone with two victories in the first home game and got their first points.

The women started strongly against SG Moosburg and secured the first set with 25:14! But the euphoria did not last long: they couldn't hold out the game and lost 15: 7 in an exciting tie break. The second game against SC Freising was also a hard chunk. Despite a tight start and catch -up hunts, they finally had to give up with 25:23, 25:20 and 25:18. Coach Heinz Kirschner now trembles for the position of the women in the midfield of the table.

The gentlemen, on the other hand, started with full force! After a disappointing start of the season, they didn't torch for long. In the first game against MTV Ingolstadt III, they kept the newcomers with a solid 3-1 in chess. Captain Anton Junker led his team to the first win and offered valuable game practice for the team's newcomers, including players from Afghanistan.

In the second game against SC Freising III, the men show nerve strength! After a rather bumpy course, they won in the tie break with 15:12 after mobilizing all forces again in the fourth set. With this victory, after a breathtaking catch -up, the gentlemen set out clearly from their start -up defeats. An outcry of the triumph in Neuburg!
