Freising, Deutschland - A special kind of spectacle is imminent: On Sunday, November 10th, Freising shines in the shine of the 49th Martin parade! Under the motto of coexistence and charity, the festive train moves through the city and promises an unforgettable experience for young and old. St. Martin, embodied by the charming Veronika Goldbach, will lead the crowd with her magnificent horse Victor and conquer the hearts of the spectators in the storm!

from 5:30 p.m. the participants gather at Marienplatz, ready for a colorful spectacle. At 6 p.m. St. Martin rides through the picturesque old town, accompanied by happy songs and stories about St. Martin. The path leads to Freising Domberg, where Auxiliary Bishop Wolfgang Bischof and Pastor Heiko Blank will donate the church blessing. A highlight of the evening is the impressive division of coats, which is re -enacted in front of the enlightened cathedral church, while the children shine with their homemade lanterns!

But that's not all! At the end of the move, the famous "Otto Semoser-Weckerl" are distributed, a tribute to the charitable Freising goalkeeper from the 13th century. The event is accompanied musically by the Stadtkapelle, the youth wind orchestra of the music school and other talented groups. The children's choir will enchant the crowd with its voices, while the altar servers and students are also actively participating.

The organizers warmly thank the numerous helpers without whom this big event would not be possible. The volunteer fire brigade, the Red Cross, the police and many others are ready to make this festival a safe and happy event.
