Hallenbad Moosburg opened earlier: A day full of excitement!

The anticipation for the new Moosburg indoor pool is great, because the opening is now a day earlier than originally planned! Mayor Josef Dollinger (FW) announced at the last city council meeting that the big day was now placed on December 17th at 5:12 p.m. However, there is no large opening party or special offers, which disappointed some city council members.

An application for free admission for children and adolescents up to 16 years during the entire Christmas holidays was not rejected, but at the request of Dollinger to January. This means that the idea of promoting the new bathing temple during the Christmas season and enabling the families are not put into practice for the time being. Instead, the administration fears that the indoor pool will be overrun when entering free, since only 100 people are allowed at the same time. "If people are pending to the canal bridge, it's not that good," warned Dollinger.

City council members fight for free admission

sports officer Verena Beibl (Greens) and her supporters from the youth parliament continue to work for free admission. They emphasize that this would be excellent marketing for the indoor pool, even if there could be chaotic scenes at short notice. Beibl wants the families to be attracted from the start to revitalize the bathroom from the start. "A full house is my wish," she said, dreaming of headlines over long queues. Alexander Strobl (left) shows understanding of the concerns of the administration, but remains optimistic: "I prefer it, we are overrun than when the bathroom is empty."
