5,000 euros for barrier-free Lenadi website: one step to inclusion!

An exciting event for inclusion: The news service "Lenadi" from Freising has won the inclusion price! With prize money of 5,000 euros, the project will now invest in the establishment of a barrier -free website. "Lenadi" offers news about politics, entertainment, sports and more - but in a more understandable and more accessible form. Project manager Sintje Reicheneder from Lebenshilfe Freising emphasizes that the website is still in development and that financial support is urgently needed to realize the vision.

innovative projects on the podium

The jury, led by district councilor Gisela Kriegl (CSU), was spoiled for choice. Second place went to the “Your Capabilities” project from Gilching near Munich, which was awarded 3,000 euros. This innovative project helps young people with disabilities to discover and develop their talents. The third place was awarded twice: IG climbing Munich and Southern Bavaria, where people with and without disabilities climb together, as well as the city youth ring Ingolstadt, which has launched an inclusive dance theater project.

The awards show how important creative approaches to promote inclusion are. The jury praised the diversity and the comprehensive concept of inclusion of the submitted projects. It remains exciting to see how these initiatives will continue to change the landscape of inclusion in Bavaria!
