Ukrainian resistance crumbles: Selenskyj's desperate peace plan!
Kiew, Ukraine - The horrors of war in Ukraine are unmistakable: over 12,000 civilians lost their lives, tens of thousands of soldiers fell, and the number of war injuries on the Ukrainian side is terrifying 300,000. The destruction is enormous, with valued war damage of over 750 billion euros. On Tuesday, November 19, the conflict marks 1,000 days of uninterrupted aggression by Russia.
Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj has presented several plans to end the conflict, but the situation on the front is becoming increasingly critical. The Ukrainian armed forces not only fight the lack of ammunition, but also against a growing number of deserters - over 60,000 cases were registered this year, with almost 10,000 in October alone. The Russian troops continue their advance, and the strategically important city of Kurachowe is about to go. The losses on the Russian side are also huge, with over 115,000 soldiers who have fallen and more than half a million wounded.
Selenskyjs peace plans and Russia's conditions
Selenskyj adheres to his “peace formula”, which demands the complete withdrawal of the Russian troops from Ukraine. However, in view of the military reality, he admits that not all occupied areas have to be recaptured. Negotiations could be a solution, but Kiev rejects the required waiver of NATO accession. In the meantime, Russia has tightened its conditions for negotiations and demands that Ukraine do without the occupied areas.
The situation remains tense: While the United States under President Biden of Ukraine, the use of far -reaching weapons allow to attack Russian goals, this could significantly change the dynamics of the conflict. The future of support for Ukraine is on the brink, especially with the upcoming elections in the USA and the possible influence of Donald Trump, who strives to end the war faster. The geopolitical tensions and the uncertain military situation continue to leave the question of peace in Ukraine.
