FSV Steinkirchen celebrates ascent and numerous successes!

A fantastic year is behind FSV Steinkirchen! In the middle of the cheering members, the annual general meeting was a real highlight. Chairman Markus Wegmaier raved from a colorful mix of events-from the traditional Christmas tree auction with the choice of the Holzland-Madl to the rousing dance pepper cake, which had the gymnasium blow up! Proudly announced Wegmaier that the club could really radiate culturally this year.

But there was also a lot of hard work behind the happiness. Vice Chairman Christoph Hofmaier made it clear: "The weather extremes require us everything!" A complete renovation of the cabins due to water damage was necessary. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Richard Bauer and many volunteers, the stands and the sports home experienced a fresh make-over!

The big bang? The rise of the first team to the district class! Football department head Uli Wieser celebrated with his boys, who made the jump with dramatic 53 points-and that with a full house! A fan bus to Lengdorf had to be organized, while the folk festival grew in parallel. It also went well for the second team, despite a modest point of score - the painful list of 15 players is not a sugar, but the team is firmly together!

Another highlight was the guard festival! Over 800 enthusiastic spectators celebrated the performances - success overwhelmed the coaches who worked tirelessly on costumes and choreographies. Verena Graztl emphasized the performance of all coaches that ensured that the festival became a full success! The upcoming women's carnival on February 7, 2025 further heats the anticipation.

In addition, the tennis department experienced an upswing with the purchase of a new ball machine and a sensational tennis flea market. A bright tennis flea market event performed great performances, while young talents flourished in camps! The stick shooters were also active and completed 15 tournaments - always ready for new challenges! At the end of the meeting, loyal members were honored for their 65 years! A festival full of emotions and successes that will go into the annals of FSV Steinkirchen!
