New chief of police in Beilngries: Albert Forster takes over the management!
In a solemn press conference in Beilngries, the new head of the Beilngries police inspection, police chief commissioner Albert Forster, was presented today. The 47-year-old takes up his new position on December 1, 2024 and has an abundance of experience that he has collected in various police services since 1995. Police President Günther Gietl praised Forster's impressive career and his extensive operational experience, which he acquired as a service group leader at the Ingolstadt police inspection.
Forster, who started his career at the riot police in Eichstätt, has proven itself in management positions in recent years, among other things in closed units and at the central operating services. He also gained valuable experience in the work of the number that optimally prepares him for his new role. At the greeting, in addition to the deputy district administrator Bernhard Sammiller, the first mayor of Beilngries, Helmut Schloderer, and other mandate holders were present to warmly welcome Forster.

Together with his deputy, police chief commissioner Franz Dräxler, Forster will form the management team of the Beilngries police inspection. President Gietl expressed his best wishes for the new leadership duo and emphasized the challenges that lie ahead of them. In his speech, he also thanked the previous head, police chief commissioner Julia Maywald, who headed the office during her leadership for promotion to the 4th qualification level and is now working at the PI Landsberg am Lech.
