Culture for everyone: Ebersberger added value pub inspires young audience!

An exciting change is imminent in Ebersberg; The old cinema will be transformed from the cozy cinema to the lively "added value pub". This initiative aims to win a younger audience for the cabaret, which is in the age group of 25 to 45 years. Violetta Ditterich, the organizer, is enthusiastic about the idea of involving younger people in the city's cultural activities.

The planned events include a variety of entertainment formats, including stand-up comedy, pub quizzes and live podcasts. "The aperitivo bar last summer was a complete success, and I think that we can build on the added pub," explains Ditterich. From October 23 to November 3, the old cinema will therefore be transformed into a rustic pub, equipped with counter, seating groups and sofas to create a relaxed atmosphere.

a special program for two weeks

The event location will not only offer space for social gathering, and cultural events are also a major component of the program. You can look forward to two concert evenings in which the indie band Sieea from Munich and the singer-songwriter Ami Warning will appear. In addition, there will be film screenings every Wednesday, while an exciting pub quiz is planned on Thursday, October 24th.

The workshops that take place on Sundays are particularly noteworthy. Here, for example, visitors can try impro theater or Lindy Hop, which offers an excellent opportunity to learn something new and at the same time have fun. Stand-up comedy evenings on two Saturdays, on which both local talents and experienced comedians from Munich will be on stage.

Another highlight of the series of events will be the “Late Night Show”, which will take place on Friday, November 1st. Ditterich will lead through the evening with her best friend Lara von Dehn, who not only becomes musically varied, but also promises exciting guests and discussions about relationships.

"Culture should be affordable for everyone," emphasizes Ditterich. The added value pub passport for the entire duration of the events costs 40 euros, while the individual entrances are around ten euros. This addresses a wide audience that can use the offers without putting too much strain on the wallet. Further information can be found online at Kultur-in-ebersberg.de/ added pub.
