Donauries is preparing for big tourism fairs in 2025!

Rain, Deutschland - On November 5, 2025, numerous players from tourism gathered in Rain to prepare for the upcoming trade fair season of the Ferienland Donauries. Among the participants were representatives of the tourist information, geopark guide and employees of the branches, who together agreed to meet the challenges of the next year. The day started with an exciting city tour that brought the participants closer to the beauties of Rain and increased the anticipation for the upcoming events.

Following the city tour, a training took place that focused on the ongoing and planned projects of the Donauries holiday country and the UNESCO Global Geopark for 2025. Klemens Heininger, Managing Director of Ferienland Donauries e. V., emphasized the important role of the region on the most important tourism fairs in southern Germany. "As usual, the Ferienland Donauries presents itself at the big tourist trade fairs in southern Germany. Visitors' interest in vacation in Germany and especially in Bavaria is still great," said Heininger. The region will be represented at the CMT in Stuttgart, F.Re.e in Munich and the leisure fair in Nuremberg.

The evening ended with a social dinner, in which the participants had the opportunity to exchange their impressions of the day and inspire each other. Thanks to the intensive training, everyone is well equipped to competently and convincingly represent the Ferienland Donauries in 2025 at trade fairs. Preparations are in full swing, and the anticipation for the upcoming trade fair season is noticeable!
