Fire brigade Landau visits control center: A look behind the scenes!

The fire brigades of the municipality of Landau have embarked on an exciting journey of discovery! Under the direction of district fire chief Alois Gamsreiter, they visited the integrated control center (ILS) in Landshut. This central point of contact is responsible for the acceptance of emergency call 112 in the districts of Dingolfing-Landau, Landshut, City of Landshut and district of Kehlheim. Every emergency call is treated with the highest professionalism here!

The ILS dispatchers are true masters of their field! You decide which means of alarm and accompany the use until the end. Additional volunteers can be alerted, especially in the case of major damage events, such as violent storms or floods. With a total of 55 employees, the ILS-Landshut is occupied around the clock and ready to react quickly in every emergency. The visit of the firefighters offered them a fascinating insight into the processes of the emergency call query and the decisive role of the control center.
