The streets in the Dillingen district soon shine in the colorful light of the lanterns! The traditional lantern removals are just around the corner on Monday. Children sing happily: "I go with my lantern and my lantern with me." The anticipation is great, because the little hobbyists are already at work to make the most beautiful lanterns. Whether owl, tractor or unicorn - there are no limits to creativity!

Martin's Day is not only a festival of lights, but also an important day in the church year. He is reminiscent of St. Martin, who was born in the 4th century. The legend tells how he shared his warm coat to a freezing beggar. This touching story is imitated in many communities and kindergartens to convey the values of charity and parts.
