One last play of colors: Herbert Plahl's studio opens for the retrospective
In the Stockmann villa in Dachau, the studio of Herbert Felix Plahl, who died in July at the age of 80, is recognized in an emotional retrospective. His wife Monika invites you to a last tour, while the artist's stubborn coat of the artist is still hanging on the easel, as if he had just left. The studio has to be cleared by December, and Monika hopes to present her husband's life's work, which consists of 100 to 120 acrylic images and countless graphics. The exhibition shows a colorful palette of his works, which are filled with lively watercolors and acrylic paintings and the viewer kidnaps into a world full of colors and shapes.
A look into the world of the artist
plahl was a globetrotter whose travel led him to South America, Asia and especially China. These experiences flowed into his art, as his last large -format work "The Way to Paradise" shows, which captivates with its cheerful, warm colors. The work of the neighbor Tadeusz Stupka can also be seen in the exhibition, which impresses with watercolors from the past 30 years. His works show the changing streets of Dachau and Munich, while he is referred to as a "history painter" with a wink.
fascinating photographs and abstract art
The photographer Lilly Karsten presents her impressive pictures from her trip to Iceland, which appear as painted and capture the breathtaking landscapes of the island. Her recordings show glowing mountain peaks and neon -green lava fields, which she captured under extreme conditions. Ralf Hanrieder, on the other hand, brings the concept of "magical square" into play with his work, which turns his works of art into a fascinating connection between matter and energy. His pictures shine particularly in black light and create an impressive visual depth.
The studio exhibition in the Stockmann Villa will open on Friday, November 15th and will be accessible to visitors until November 17th. An unforgettable experience for art lovers and a worthy farewell to Herbert Felix Plahl.
