EHC Regensburg starts with a top team in new ice hockey season!
The ice hockey season is eagerly awaited: EHC Regensburg, under the direction of coach Stefan Turba, starts on Saturday evening at 8:20 p.m. in the Danube Arena with a cracker against the Woodpeckers from ESV Dachau. The reason for the excitement? For the tenth anniversary in the district league, the EHC cracks have great ambitions-the move into the playoffs is the declared goal! The competition against numerous new opponents from Freising, Dachau, and other cities is fueled with a new group.
Stefan Turba, a living ice hockey legend and even the proud father of a goalkeeper, is ready with full team strength. The squad includes impressive 32 players, including 25 field players and four goalkeepers, who are all ready to fight for the club. Turba knows that flexibility is also required because the job and study could hold some players. Nevertheless, his expectations are high: "We have a super -good group," said the trainer about his protégés, who are optimally prepared.
a team with history
The EHC team is not only a bunch of talented players, but also a collection of ice hockey fates. Many of the names have been experienced and played in the young or even in the first team of EV Regensburg. Stefan Turba reflects on the connection to the "big ice hockey family" and the fresh wind in the squad - new faces like Kevin Maraun and Luca Bauer, who bring their very own stories. The anticipation for the season is tangible, while Turba now wants to explore the strength of the new league after the first friendly games to enable his team the best possible start.
The EHC pack is ready not to make prisoners. Whether in the goal, in defense or in the storm - every player has a place and a story it is worth to be told. Ice hockey is not just a sport, but a passion, and EHC Regensburg is ready to recapture its place in the spotlight!
