A dramatic traffic accident on the A8 near Sulzemoos caused colossal traffic chaos on Thursday morning! At around 6.40 a.m., four vehicles crashed into each other shortly before the Sulzemoos exit, which led to a backlog of a whopping nine kilometers. The drivers concerned had to bring a lot of patience while the situation on the popular main traffic route towards Munich.

The accident was triggered by the ECALL system of one of the vehicles involved, which automatically made an emergency call. That must not be kept secret! After the incident, the left and medium lanes were temporarily closed, which significantly delayed the clean -up work. In the meantime, the emergency services of the fire brigades from Odelzhausen, Sulzemoos, Wiedenzhausen, Pfaffenhofen and Adelzhausen brought in to secure the scene of the accident and to guide the traffic.
