Kapp Niles hands 100th machine to Volkswagen: A success for the region!
Kassel, Deutschland - Kapp Niles achieves an important milestone in the collaboration with Volkswagen Kassel, one of the largest gearboxes worldwide. Today, on December 15, 2024, the 100th machine, an important symbol for the long -term success of the partnership, was ceremoniously handed over. These events began over 27 years ago when the first Kapp VAC 65 Coronier machine was delivered to Baunatal in June 1997, such as NP Coburg reported. In particular, the introduction of the first generation of electric vehicles, such as the e-up and e-golf in 2012, was a challenging phase in which Kapp Niles contributed significantly to pre-series production, as well as Kapp Niles . The more than 30 machines that have recently been delivered are crucial for production on the new MEB platform of Volkswagen, which includes the gearbox types app 350 and app 550.
Matthias Kapp, Managing Director of Kapp Niles, emphasized the importance of this long and close cooperation. "We are proud to contribute to the increase in efficiency and technological development - especially in transformation to electromobility."
