Stefan Bellmont, the first Swiss participant in the Darts World Championship, lost his debut in London with 0: 3 disappointing against the favorite Jermaine Wattimena. The 35-year-old player from Cham could not convince when he appeared at Alexandra Palace, better known as "Ally Pally", even if he showed some impressive moments. Despite the defeat, many hope that Bellmont will be represented at further tournaments in the future, especially since the Darts World Championship will be increased from 96 to 128 players in the coming year. Bellmont has thrown the strong performance of the Dutch opponent out of the tournament, but expectations of his future appearances remain high. Bellmont plans to use his experiences with the Q school to secure a ticket for the PDC tour and thus continue to advance his career.
