Oberpfalz celebrates: 72 top graduates secure the future of the region!
A glamorous evening for the best talents of the Upper Palatinate! On Friday, the IHK Regensburg for Upper Palatinate/Kelheim honored the 72 most outstanding graduates of vocational training and further education. Among the radiant winners are four talented specialists who work in the Cham district. A reason to joy for the region!
"Your success is not only your personal profit, but also a big contribution to your companies and society," emphasized IHK Vice President Rita Högl in her rousing speech. The variety of excellent professions ranges from microtechnologists to hotel experts to tested logistics masters. A total of 49 trainees - 31 from technical and 18 from commercial professions - and 23 further training graduates were honored for their extraordinary achievements. "The shortage of skilled workers is a serious topic," warned Högl. "You, dear graduates, are the answer and ensure the future viability of our region."
The radiant winners
particularly impressive: 23 young people from the Upper Palatinate and the district of Kelheim have not only completed their training as the best in the region, but even as the best in Bavaria! "Diligence, perseverance and commitment are guarantors for professional success," praised Högl. Together with IHK general manager Dr. Jürgen Helmes presented the proud award winners in the Jahnstadion Regensburg.
The honored from the Cham Test district are:
- Anna-Lena Birner, hotel specialist (Kinderhotel & Babyhotel Ulrichshof, Rimbach)
- Elena Märkl, designer for visual marketing (fashion adventure house Frey, Cham)
- Lea Sophie Stoiber, building artist (Josef Rädlinger construction company, Cham)

Thank you very much for supporters such as parents, friends, training companies and vocational schools. "The interlinking of the teaching content between school and operation is a key to the success of dual training," said Högl. Special thanks went to the approximately 5000 volunteer examiners who were in the IHK training area last year. A truly impressive event for the region!
