New music center in Cham: creative compact for culture and encounter!

A new music school center is realized on the former paper factory site in Cham. The Zurich team VPA Architecture and Heinrich Landschaftsarchitektur from Winterthur have won the competition and the project is called "Träffpunkt". A total of 30 projects were submitted for the competition, whereby the decision of the jury unanimously fell in favor of the “Träffpunkt” project.

The new building is divided into two wings and is located opposite the warehouse. With this project, the Cham music school is to combine its six existing locations under one roof.
