Bad Reichenhall, Deutschland - A ray of hope for the homeless in the Berchtesgadener Land district! The Foundation of Homeless Aid Bavaria has generously donated and enables the Caritas Center to buy urgently needed winter equipment. The district manager Dr. Franziska Fritz and administrative director Barbra Moser are enthusiastic about the support that enables people in need with high -quality backpacks, sleeping bags, insulating mats and other important articles.

The situation is alarming: more and more people, including seniors over 70 years, are forced to sleep outdoors. The possibilities for safe overnight stays are very limited in the district. With the new equipment, those affected can better survive even in freezing temperatures. The distribution takes place via the homelessness of Caritas and in the café of the encounter, where everyone can find help without an appointment.

In addition to the outdoor packages, lockers for valuables in Freilassing, Berchtesgaden and Bad Reichenhall have been set up. These lockers offer homeless the opportunity to keep their personal things safely. The lockers are accessible in central locations to offer those affected simple and low -threshold support.
