In Schönau am Königssee, the Königssee volunteer fire brigade traditionally carried out its senior exercise this year. This important event attracted over 30 comrades on October 11, 2024, and the exercise was organized in cooperation with the Berchtesgaden fire department. Peter Hallinger served as a trainer and led the participants to a simulated scenario in which a fire in the Enzian distillery Grassl was accepted.

The exercise had a clear focus on teamwork and quick action. After the alarmed vehicles from the Königssee and Berchtesgaden fire brigades arrived, the active comrades and the seniors worked together to immediately build suction line.
