A shocking incident occurred on Thursday morning in Freilassing when a 10-year-old boy was hit by an unknown driver while crossing the street. The little cyclist properly waited for the pedestrian traffic light when he started at around 7:45 a.m. in greenlight. Suddenly a black SUV raced from the left and collided with the boy who bumped at the back tire of the vehicle. The driver continued his journey without stopping!

An attentive witness who was waiting next to the boy rushed to help immediately. Unfortunately, she was only able to provide limited information about the fleeting vehicle, which possibly wore Austrian license plates. However, she confirmed that the pedestrian light was green when the boy crossed the street. The Freilassing police inspection is now looking for other witnesses who have observed the incident.
