Dismantling of the old bridge: Traunstein is preparing for new paths!
The new bridge on the B 20 is finally passable! After long months of the construction work, drivers can now use the freshly completed connection. This bridge replaces the old one, which has been in operation since 1867 and was rebuilt in 1957. According to the state building authority Traunstein, the condition of the old bridge was to be assessed as "correspondingly poor", which underlines the need for the new building.

But that's not all! The makeshift bridge over the ditch is now dismantled, which usher in the dismantling of the bypass road. Florian Paukner from the Traunstein State Building Office states that by the end of November the gaps for the cycle path and the repair of the asphalt layers in the intersection area should also be completed with Richard-Voß-Straße. The work should be completely over before Christmas!
These developments are of great importance for the transport infrastructure in the region. The new bridge will not only increase security, but also improve traffic flow. The residents can look forward to a noticeable relief while the construction work progresses quickly.
