Creepy fun in Berchtesgaden: Children celebrate Halloween in the cinema!

Berchtesgaden, Deutschland - A eerily beautiful Halloween fun conquered Berchtesgaden! The cinema became a stronghold for creepy fans and small ghosts, which were allowed to slip into scary figures with homemade masks. The colorful cardboard masks and the creepy, beautiful ghost garlands that took the children home provided radiant faces. But that was by no means all: when “mummy wrapping”, they could show how nimble they are and wrap their friends with tie!

The anticipation was huge, and the long queue at the cinema entrance revealed it: up to 40 minutes of waiting time had to be survived before the creep films could be entered. The great enthusiasm that the event triggered led to an overcrowded hall, where an exciting quiz about the origins of Halloween and the Mexican Día de los Muertos captivated the children. Students of the Q12 explained the fascinating traditions and the symbols that have tasted into the most diverse rituals of the celebrations.

The event spanned the frame around the exciting customs: Halloween, a legacy of the old Celtic festival Samhain, celebrates the farewell of the summer. On this magical night, October 31, the boundaries between the worlds blur. To appease the spirits, people lit lights. On November 1st and 2nd, to the Día de los Muertos, the Mexicans honor their deceased with magnificent altars. The Oscar-winning film "Coco-more lively than life!" took the children on a colorful journey through these traditions and made many enchanted faces shine. The award of the best costume and the best quiz participant put the crown on the day!

But the adults were not neglected either! In the original version of "Lights Out" they experienced unexpected shock moments and a scary flair. The organizers ensured an exciting introduction to the meaning and the symbols of Halloween before the horror scene immersed the audience into the white skin of the scary moments. All in all, it was a complete success - an exciting day that will be remembered for a long time!
