An incredible wave of solidarity has started the band "Chicos"! With their "Almtour für’n Guadn purpose", the talented musicians achieved a remarkable result - they were able to collect a whopping 13,500 euros for the children's cancer aid Berchtesgadener Land and Traunstein! Rosmarie Baumgartner, the 1st chairwoman of the children's cancer aid, was overjoyed when she received the donation check by Michi Rieder and his bandmates Felix Kunz and Stefan Wimmer. A moment of joy and hope!

Despite adverse weather conditions that wanted to destroy four of the eight planned events this year, the "chicos" did not give up. They transformed the final of their tour into an unforgettable Alm Festival on the Lower Lower Alm. Instead of getting into the entrance, the musicians asked their audience for volunteers, and their idea ignited immediately! The initiative was very well received throughout the district, and numerous supporters contributed this so that an impressive sum of 12,015 euros came together.

The Sparkassen Foundation Berchtesgadener Land increased this amount even further to 13,500 euros, which will benefit 100 percent of children's cancer aid. This organization supports affected families who have to fight with the devastating consequences of a cancer diagnosis. Baumgartner said: "Such a diagnosis throws a rat tail of problems. The financial is at the forefront, and that's exactly where we start to catch up. Because all these worries make the families completely." The help includes wage losses, medication that the health insurers are not adopted, and support in everyday life. An impressive commitment that certainly does not remain unnoticed - the "chicos" have been doing great work for four years and have already collected a total of 52,050 euros!
