Berchtesgadener Land, Deutschland - Another time the "Chicos" set an impressive sign with their "Almtour für’n Guadn purpose"! At a brilliant conclusion on the Unternberg Alm, the musicians handed over a donation check for a proud 13,500 euros to the children's cancer aid Berchtesgadener Land and Traunstein. Rosmarie Baumgartner, the committed first chairman of the facility, was overjoyed to accept this money, which comes from voluntary donations from visitors and support from the Sparkassen Citizens' Foundation.

The band, consisting of Michi Rieder and the two Ruhpoldingen musicians Felix Kunz and Stefan Wimmer, gave everything this year despite adverse weather conditions and canceled concerts! With a rousing acoustic program from timeless classics to current hits, the trio captivated the visitors. Over 12,000 euros were collected during their appearances, but thanks to the generous increase by the Sparkassen Citizens' Foundation, the amount was increased to 13,500 euros. These funds flow 100 percent into the support of families who are faced with the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.

tireless use for sick children

The children's cancer aid Berchtesgadener Land and Traunstein assumes important responsibility in the region! "A cancer diagnosis means immense problems for the families affected. Above all, financial concerns can be stressful," explains Baumgartner. The help ranges from the takeover of wage failures to the provision of medication that is not covered by the health insurance companies and the organization of leisure activities for affected children and their relatives. The "chicos" have already collected a total of 52,050 euros with their altruistic missions and thus tirelessly provide valuable support for the little heroes and their families.
