The trip began on September 20 at the Gotha motorway exit and led the participants to Besançon before continuing the second part after Sainte Maxime on Saturday. Christina None, board member of the Thuringian State Representation employee/civil servant in forest and nature conservation, was enthusiastic about the invitation and enjoyed the trip with her life partner. She praised the perfect division of the journey, which prevented a too long and exhausting journey. "The excursions were fantastic, educational and often funny," she enthused, thanking the tour guide and the bus driver Hans for their excellent collaboration.

The participants explored the breathtaking gorges of the Verdon, visited Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and made a detour to the glamorous city-state Monaco and the Farfümeriefabrik Fragonard in Eze. The holiday center "Les Tourlles" in Sainte Maxime offered a comfortable stay, and the culinary delights in the "Festival" restaurant of the former castle were another highlight. Christina Nobody thanked Bernd Unzeid, the tour operator "Weimar-Tour" and all organizers for the eventful days that she will never forget.
