New DEHOGA board in Bad Kissingen: Sandra Kaiser relies on the future!
Bad Kissingen, Deutschland - A new wind blows in the German Hotel and Restaurant Association Bad Kissingen (DEHOGA)! Sandra Kaiser has the reins in his hand and is the new chair. Heinz Stempfle, the long -time chairman, has handed over the baton and is now the deputy chairman. In her inaugural speech, Kaiser thanked for the trust and emphasized the desire for strong cooperation to shape the future of gastronomy.
But what does that mean for the industry? Kaiser has clear demands: "We as Dehoga Bayern are calling for measures to save the gastronomy and hotel industry at federal level." It is committed to a permanent VAT of seven percent on dishes, demands an end to tax and tax increases as well as affordable energy costs. It is also important to her that there is no politically defined minimum wage and that bureaucracy is dismantled. "Lesses, less documentation - that is the way forward!"
The future in view
Heinz Stempfle, who is now acting in his new role as deputy chairman, already looks at 2024. He asks the question of what the business can do better and appeals to everyone to deal with new topics at an early stage. It is particularly important to him that the region attracts wealthy guests again. "The quality seal of UNESCO World Heritage has brought more visitors, but the structures have changed significantly. We have to ensure that both trade and gastronomy benefit from these guests!"
After 33 years as chairman, Stempfle thanked all the board members, the city of Bad Kissingen and the colleagues for their support. The course are set - Bad Kissingen, get ready for an exciting future!
