Münnerstadt fights bravely: volleyball players start with two defeats!
A disaster for TSV Münnerstadt! In their highly awaited home game in the Landesliga, the volleyball players had to take two painful defeats. In the first match against TSV Lengfeld, the game ended 1: 3 (21:25, 28:26, 27:29, 21:25). Despite full anticipation and motivation on the first home game day, illness -related failures by key players Niklas Amthor and Markus Fidelak caused significant problems. The Mürschter started weakly in all four sentences, but always fought their way back into the game, but could not put the decisive last impulse.
The second encounter against TSV 1860 Weißenburg did not improve. With a clear 0: 3 (17:25, 20:25, 20:25), the Münnerstädter had to cut the sails again. Despite a promising debut by diagonal attacker Paul Link, the team remained behind their possibilities. The Weißenburger, who competed as a promoted, presented themselves strongly with solid block work and a convincing attack, which made life difficult for the shortcomings. Player coach Uwe Knipping got to the point: "In the next two weeks it is now about licking the wounds and getting the team fit for the upcoming tasks."
support of the fans
Despite the bitter setbacks, the mood in the multi -purpose hall was remarkable. Almost a hundred spectators ensured a great atmosphere and supported their team loudly. The next home game day is already on Saturday, November 9th. The volleyball players are determined to leave the defeats behind and return with fresh vigor!
