A spectacular evening in the DFB Cup! RB Leipzig has ended its result crisis with an impressive 3-0 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt and thus qualified for the quarter-finals. The Leipziger, who weakened in the last games, showed their best side and set a strong sign for coach Marco Rose. Benjamin Sesko scored the goals in the 31st minute and Loïs Openda, who struck twice (50th/58th). After six mandatory games, the jubilation of the third goal was great - a real liberation!
In another gripping duel, VfL Wolfsburg prevailed 3-0 against TSG Hoffenheim. The first goal fell after a serious mistake in Hoffenheim's goalkeeper Oliver Baumann, who had the ball slid through his hands. Denis Vavro took the opportunity in the 63rd minute. Jonas Wind (67th) and Yannick Gerhardt (85th) provided the other goals and assured Wolfsburg.

This qualified for a total of eight teams for the next round, including defending champion Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart, who have already continued on Tuesday.
