Floor fire in Stolzenwörth: Fire brigade fights against flames!
In a dramatic incident on Friday afternoon, a hall fire in the Stolzenwörth district ignited after a fire was burned out during the burning of leaves. As the fire brigade reported, a dense column of smoke was visible from afar when passers -by already attempted to extinguish. Due to the strong wind, the fire spread quickly to an adjacent field, which immediately alerted three fire departments with around 35 emergency services. Despite the massive drought in the region, which has been suffering from extreme rainfall for months, the firefighters managed to control the fire after about two hours. Due to the mission, there were disabilities on the B26 and the railway line of the Schneebergbahn was temporarily closed, reported noe.orf.at.
railway fault by cable fire
As a result of another incident, in which a regional express north of the Meitingen station had torn off a heading, the railway line between Augsburg and Donauwörth is closed for several days. The hanging cables lit a fire in the railway embankment and a cable shaft that was discovered by a train driver of a freight train. The local fire brigade was able to delete the fire quickly, but the damage was significant: important cables for train operation were damaged. This led to around 20 minutes delay on the Deutsche Bahn trains, including the ICE connections, which are now being diverted via Ingolstadt. Arverio, the operator in regional transport, has already set up a bus replacement traffic and expects massive restrictions in the access to the access due to the necessary repairs until July 26. These delays can also be attributed to the railway site that can be announced at short notice, as can be read on Donaukurier.
