Creative trainees wanted: sets a sign against racism!
Aschaffenburg, Deutschland - Aschaffenburg. Attention trainees! By January 15, 2025, young talents from Aschaffenburg can submit creative projects against racism and right -wing extremism and gain the coveted “yellow hand”. This initiative is launched by IG Bau to promote tolerance at the workplace and in the vocational school. Whether short films, social media campaigns or exhibitions-all ideas are welcome. "We want to set a sign against hate," emphasizes a spokesman for IG Bau, who emphasizes the importance of the competition, since it offers young people a platform to actively work for diversity.
But that's not all! The competition not only serves creative expression, but also to combat everyday racism and discrimination. The best contributions can win prize money of up to 1,000 euros, with a ceremony that will take place in Magdeburg in March 2025. IG Bau in particular calls on the trainees to critically deal with topics such as migration and democracy. "If we act together against discrimination, we can actively combat the shortage of skilled workers that we are currently experiencing," explains Björn Wißuwa, regional manager of IG Bau Westfalen.
