Amberg-Sulzbach, Deutschland - The US military exercise "Allied Spirit 25" is currently taking place in the Upper Palatinate, which started on February 22nd and will continue for four weeks. The exercise is organized by the 7th Army Training Command Grafenwöhr and includes several counties, including Amberg-Sulzbach, Neumarkt, Neustadt/Waldnaab, Cham and Schwandorf. A total of 1,408 soldiers take part in the exercise, supported by 375 cycling vehicles, of which 24 chain vehicles are, and 22 helicopters. The geographical practice area extends from Auerbach via Grafenwöhr, Weiden, Wernberg and Schwandorf to Maxhütte-Haidhof, Parsberg, Neumarkt and Weigendorf.
