Three traffic accidents in the Altötting district: Police in constant use!
drama on the streets of the Altötting district! On November 17th and 18th, three spectacular traffic accidents occurred, which the police called on the scene. The events that took place in Kastl, Reischach and Altötting provided excitement and numerous emergency services on site.
The first accident happened on the night from Sunday at 3 a.m. on the connecting road from Graming to the B299. A 21-year-old driver from Garching at the Alz gave way to a deer that suddenly jumped on the road and lost control of his vehicle. He crashed into a traffic sign and finally ended up in the guardrail. While his 16-year-old passenger was slightly injured, the driver was not injured. The Kastl fire brigade was quickly on hand to secure the scene of the accident and to tow the damaged car.

on the same day, around 5 p.m., there was another incident between Perach and Reischach. A 19-year-old man lost control of his vehicle, overturned and crashed into an oncoming car of a 44-year-old woman. The police found that the young driver was under the influence of cannabis. Fortunately, the 44-year-old and her passenger remained unharmed, while the person who caused the accident had to be taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Now he threatens criminal consequences for hazardous to road traffic.
The third accident occurred on Monday morning in Altötting. A 28-year-old man from Weißenburg wanted to turn left with his Citroën small transporter at an intersection, but overlooked the vehicle entitled to a 50-year-old woman. The collision was violent, but luckily there were no injuries. Both vehicles were so badly damaged that they had to be towed. The total damage is estimated at around 17,500 euros. The police continue to investigate.
