In Albstadt it gets serious: The city administration is considering a "moderate trade tax increase", only months after the rejection of this proposal by the local council. The announcement comes from the city treasury Michaela Wild and not from Mayor Roland Tralmer. This is done in the middle of an alarming message from Groz-Beckert, the city's largest employer, who announces that 50 million euros have to be saved due to the current economic situation. But that's not all! The trade tax debate is complicated by a simultaneous increase in property tax. The city argues that companies benefit from the new regulation of property tax, which does not convince many entrepreneurs. An example shows that a single -family house with a property of 1520 square meters may have to expect a property tax of up to 1506.75 euros.
