New bakery in Waldshut: Balkan specialties and free Burek!

The Beckert bakery, under the direction of Beca Gutaj, brings a breath of fresh air to the lunch break of the Waldshut. On Thursday, October 31, the new branch in Robert-Gerwig-Straße, on the premises of the former Gehri bakery, will be inaugurated. Gutaj also got another managing director on board with Behar Golaj to head the company together.

The Beckert bakery not only offers the usual treats such as bread, rolls and cakes, but also tempting specialties from the Balkans! From Burek to Cevapcici to sweet delicacies such as Baklava - everyone gets their money's worth here. A standing café on the ground floor and a cozy area for around 30 guests on the upper floor invite you to linger, while the roof terrace offers additional space in summer. "We also have an adjoining room that can be used for companies," explains Gutaj.

At the opening on October 31, guests can look forward to free Burek sticks! These filled dough trees are an absolute must. In addition, there is a whopping 20 percent discount on the entire range on the opening day. Gutaj, an experienced baker and confectioner, took over the traditional Beckert bakery in Erzingen 13 years ago and brings his expertise for sweet and hearty delicacies. He is supported by his two sons, who are also a baker, and his daughter, who learned the confectioner. The new bakery will be open from Monday to Sunday, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and starts with a team of eight employees, with the aim of growing to 15.
